4 Texas High School Players Participate in USA Baseball 17U National Team Development Program

While USA Baseball fields an 18U and 15U team to play in international competition, they also put together the 17U and 14 U Developmental Program.

40 athletes were selected to participate in the USA Baseball 17U National Team Development Program. At the 17U National Team Development Program, players will participate in skill development sessions, various off-field educational components including guest speakers/instructors and intrasquad Stars vs. Stripes games.

The 17U National Team Development programs will also be used to further connect identified athletes with USA Baseball staff to better prepare and develop the athletes for a future USA Baseball National Team experience.

4 Texas High School Players were selected to the 17U USA Baseball National Team Development Program, all 2019 graduates.

The group divided up into two teams, Stars vs Stripes, and played 4 games. Our Texas High School players played well:
