Beau Wimpee is a 6’1” 170 Senior SS from the 6A Rockwall Yellowjackets. He has committed to Texas Christian University.
As a Junior, Wimpee hit .402 with 8 2Bs, 4 3Bs, 1 HR, 13 RBIs, 45 Runs, 25 SBs and a .577 OBP. He was named the 11-6A Defensive MVP.
Wimpee was named a 2018 Preseason Perfect Game Underclass 2nd Team All-American.
As a Sophomore, Wimpee hit .318 with 4 2Bs, 1 3B, 1 HR, 13 Runs and a .474 OBP. He was named a 2nd Team Shortstop on the 11-6A All-District Team.
