Bo Blessie (Midland Lee), who pitched earlier this week and was very good, has come out throwing 94 mph gas. Command spotty today, but stuff is there.
Bo Blessie is pairing his 94 mph fastball with this nasty 82 mph slider. 3093 spin rate on this one.
Not the cleanest inning but a really interesting look from Texas RHP Bo Blessie. 92-94, touched 95 and a sharp, high spin rate breaking ball.
Very impressed with #Nebraska commit Bo Blessie. Holding 92-94, up to 95 with one of the event’s best breaking balls. 80-82, late bite

Simeon Woods-Richardson (Ft. Bend Kempner) was electric in his first outing here, and he was better today. Touched 95. Sat 91-93 with some bite on his curve.
Back-to-back 76 mph hooks from Simeon Woods-Richardson. Working quickly, exuding confidence. 91-94, t95

Simeon Woods-Richardson, rhp, Houston, Texas | Commitment: Texas

Pitching for the second time at Area Codes this week, the athletic 6-foot-3 righthander once again showed off high end, swing and miss type stuff in his Wednesday outing. Richardson worked at 91-93 mph, elevated to get swings and misses and topped at 94 mph with his fastball. He once again showed exceptional arm speed and athleticism on the hill, and he flashed a sharp 12-6 curveball with above-average depth at 76 mph.(D1 Baseball)

Bo Blessie, rhp, Midland, Texas | Commitment: Nebraska

The 6-foot-3, highly projectable Blessie threw for the second time in the event, and although it was not a completely clean outing Blessie did show off some of the best pure stuff of the week. He has a clean, fast arm and on Wednesday generated a fastball that lived in the 92-94 mph range, topping at 95 a couple times and 96 once on TrackMan. The big game-changer for Blessie, however, was his breaking ball. At times showing a spin rate over 3,000 (elite level), Blessie’s curveball was tight, late and had big two-plane depth. Thrown at 80-82 mph, he flashed good command of it to his glove side.  (D1 Baseball)
