THSB Player Profile: Daniel Cole, Sr, SS/RHP, Harker Heights

Daniel Cole is a 6’0” 195 lb Senior SS/RHP playing for the 6A Harker Heights Knights. He is uncommitted.

In his junior year, Cole hit.344 with 9 2Bs, 2 3Bs, and 20 RBIs. On the mound, he was 7-0 with a 1.16 ERA and had 87 Ks in 60 innings. He was named the 12-6A MVP.

Cole was selected to the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association All-State Team as a 3rd Team Pitcher.

As a sophomore, Cole hit .402 with 4 2Bs, 4 HRs and 23 RBIs. On the mound, he was 5-4 with a 2.12 ERA and had 67 K’s. He was named a 1st Team Shortstop on the 12-6A All-District Team.

Cole also started for Harker Heights as a freshman, hitting .333 with 3 HRs and 21 RBIS. He was 7-3 on the mound. He was named the 8-5A Newcomer of the Year.

He played summer ball with the Academy Select Sun Devils.
