Team of the Week
Alice – In their first year in 5A, the Coyotes opened things up with wins over #7 4A Sinton & 6A top 30 Laredo Alexander.

Runner Up
Midlothian – The Panthers posted two impressive shutouts over #11 Colleyville Heritage and 6A Mansfield Legacy.

Honorable Mention
Abilene Cooper – The Cougars had a couple of good wins over 6A San Angelo Central and 3A #2 Wall.
Ft. Worth Paschal – Win over Private School Top 30 Southwest Christian and 4A #10 Ft. Worth Benbrook have Paschal near the top of the list after week 1.
Mt. Pleasant – The Tigers are 5-0 to start 2025 after going a perfect 4-0 in their week one tournament.
Lake Belton – The Broncos had two very solid double-header sweep of 6A Midway.
Barbers Hill – The Eagles are off to a nice 4-1 start to the season, which included a win over 6A top 30 Grand Oaks.
Brownsville Lopez – The Lobos had a nice 32-5A win over Brownsville Porter to open up district play.
