1A Game Grade Team of the Week

Petersburg :  The Buffaloes won their first game since returning to UIL District play.  They have not had baseball since 1965 in Petersburg.  Later in the week, they picked up win number 2.

Runner Up:

Baird:  The Bears went 3-0 on the week with a District 8 win over Eula (11-9) and two non-district wins over Abilene Christian (10-9, 21-17)

Honorable Mention: 

Kennard:  The Tigers outscored opponents 24-1 for 2 big district wins. Tiger pitchers combined for 20 strikeouts.

Knippa:  The Rockcrushers picked up two wins this week.  They defeated Sabinal and Utopia to move to 6-1-1 on the season.
