1A Game Grade Team of the Week
Abbott: The Panthers went 3-0-1 on the week picking up a district win over Milford (18-1). In tournament play they defeated 2A Itasca (16-1), tied 3A Grandview JV (6-6) and defeated #3 Hubbard (14-1). Abbott moved to 5-0-2 on the season.
Runner Up:
Kress: The Kangaroos went 3-1 on the week and 3-0 to win the Springlake Earth Tournament. They defeated Floydada JV (9-3), Olton (12-3) and Crosbyton (11-6). Kress moves to 8-1-1 on the season
Honorable Mention:
Rotan: The Yellowhamers went 2-1 in tournament play this weekend with wins over Valley and O’Donnell while losing to Nazareth.
