1A Game Grade Team of the Week
Kress – The Kangaroos went 3-0 tournament play. They defeated Valley (10-0), Lockney (6-0) and Crosbyton (7-4). The Kangaroos improved to 4-0 on the year.
Runner Up:
Menard – The Yellow Jackets are back playing baseball after not playing since 2018. They went 3-1 at the Gorman Tournament and improved to 3-2 on the season. Prior to this, they had not won a game since 2014-15 season.
Honorable Mention:
Saint Jo – The Panthers went 3-1-1 on the week including 2-1-1 in tournament play. They had wins over Era, Tioga, and Muenster Sacred Heart.
Leveretts Chapel – The Lions won their first district game in over 10 years with a 25-20 win over Price Carlisle.
