5A Game Grade Team of the Week (March 20)
Leander Rouse- District 19 Cinderella Story continues. The Rouse Raiders knocked off Cedar Creek (28-0), region power Georgetown (7-5) and Conally in extras (3-2). The Raiders now sit in the drivers seat with a 4-1 District Record. In the 28 run win vs Cedar Creek the Raiders scored 12 runs in the first inning
Runner Up San Antonio Burbank- Won 4 games in 4 Days to 2nd Place in the standings in District 28-5A. The bulldogs outscored opponents 36-8 during the week as they separated themselves from the competition during first round play. What a spring break for Burbank.
Hon Mention– Forney- The Jackrabbits picked up 2 wins via Shutout to sweep Mesquite Poteet during District Play.
