2A Game Grade Team of the Week
Johnson City: The Eagles went 4-0 this week. They combined to outscore opponents 48-5. They had wins over 3A Nixon Smiley (10-0), #24 Sabinal (14-4), 1A #5 D’Hanis (9-1) as well as 3A Marble Falls JV team (15-0).
Runner Up:
Collinsville: The Pirates went 5-0 on the week. They moved to 1-0 in District 11 action with a 10-5 win over Era. At the Lindsay tournament, the defeated North Hopkins (11-3), Lindsay (8-5), 3A Blue Ridge (12-3) and Sam Rayburn 4-0.
Honorable Mention:
Hawkins: The Hawks went 3-0 on week with a district win over Union Hill (10-0) and two tournament win. They defeated Alba Golden (8-0) and Winona (11-2). Hawkins improved to 4-1 on the season.
