Frankston – The Indians went 3-0 on the week scoring 52 runs. They had a team batting average of .447 with 8 extra base hits. The pitching staff only allowed 3 era runs with 1.24 team ERA and 26 strikeouts. They had 2 district wins over Malakoff Cross Roads (23-2 and 14-2) and a win over Alba Golden (15-3).
Runner Up:
Premont – The Cowboys went 3-0 on the week including a district win over Aqua Dulce (23-11). They defeat San Diego (15-10) and Corpus Christi West Oso (18-2) in other action.
Honorable Mention:
Kenedy picks up two important district wins. They defeated Refugio (6-3) and Woodsboro (8-6). Kenedy has not defeated Refugio since 2014. The Lions have started the season at 10-0.
