2A Game Grade Team of the Week
Shiner – The Comanches defeated#4 Weimar 8-2 on Tuesday. The improved to 14-2 overall after picking up another district win Friday night with a 14-1 win over Yorktown. Shiner is 4-0 in District 28.
Runner Up:
Thorndale – The Bulldogs defeated #7 Holland in district 27 play 8-3 moving them to 12-6 on the season. Earlier in the week they also defeat Bremond 10-1 in district play.
Honorable Mention:
Centerville – The Tigers defeated #14 Lovelady in District 21 play and improve to 6-0 in district with a district win over Jewett Leon. The Tigers moved to 10-1-1 on the season.
Alto – The Yellow Jackets remained undefeated in District 22 after defeated Groveton (14-4) and #15 Cushing (17-7) in district 22 play.
Sabinal – The Yellow Jackets defeated #16 Falls City in District 30 play Tuesday night with a 11-7 score. They also defeated Charlotte 14-8 to move to 2-0 in District 21 and 6-6 on the season.
