3A GameGrade Team of the Week
Mineola – The Yellowjackets picked up two impressive wins, including a crucial victory over district leader and #4 Edgewood, 8-4. Mineola also defeated Grand Saline, another team that will be in the playoffs out of the district.
Runner Up
Groesbeck – The goats took control of 19-3A with a 6-3 win over the Clifton Cubs. With a win over Whitney on Tuesday, Groesbeck will take the #1 seed out of the district.
Honorable Mention
White Oak – The Roughnecks took down state-ranked New Diana (5-4) to get back in the conversation for the second seed in the district. White Oak is currently just one game behind the Beckville and New Diana – the district leaders.
