3A Game Grade Team of the Week
Pilot Point- The Bearcats pulled off a surprise sweep of the previously ranked #5 Boyd Yellow Jackets, winning 3-1 and 4-1, pulling themselves to 4-2 in district play.
Runner Up
Mathis- The Pirates went on the road this week and took down #25 Odem 7-4 and Taft 17-5 to knot themselves in a tie atop the 29-3A standings with Odem, both at 6-1 in district play.
Honorable Mention
Central Heights- The Blue Devils are now in sole possession of 1st place in district 21-3A after 2 wins this week including a big win over fellow top 40 team Diboll by the score of 5-2.
Atlanta- The Rabbits are now a perfect 6-0 in district 14-3A after 2 wins this week including a 5-1 win over New Boston who had previously been unbeaten in district as well.
