GameGrade 3A Team of the Week
Hughes Springs Mustangs – Hughes Springs continued their hot start to 2019 by going a perfect 5-0 this past week. That included a 4-0 record in the Grand Saline Tournament.
Runner Up
Brock Eagles – Brock is still undefeated following the second week of the season. The Eagles traveled down to the Cameron/Rogers tourney (toughest in the state for week 2) and finished with a 3-0-1 mark.
Honorable Mention
Clifton Cubs – The state finalist from 2018 look like their primed for another strong season after going 4-0 in the Cameron/Rogers tournament, taking down all 4A programs.
Clyde Bulldogs – Clyde has propelled themselves into the top 25 rankings after a strong 5-0 week. The Bulldogs were 4-0 in the Windthorst tournament, outscoring opponents 45-13.
