GameGrade 6A Team of the Week
L.D. Bell – It was quite a week for the Blue Raiders. They swept a district series against Haltom by outscoring them 15-3 then earned a big shutout win over 5A No. 2 Colleyville Heritage. With those wins, Bell secured a playoff spot (and got career win No. 500 for head coach Paul Gibson). The Blue Raiders are now 20-8 overall and 8-2 and in control of District 3.

Runner Up
Prosper – The No. 3 Eagles battled No. 11 Allen in arguably the biggest series of the week and earned a sweep behind 4-2 and 8-0 wins. Prosper is safely in the playoffs and on the verge of a District 9 championship in its first year at the 6A level. The Eagles are 26-4 overall and 11-1 in district play.

Honorable Mention
Odessa – The Bronchos earned two big wins over Midland Lee to complete the season sweep and put themselves in the mix for a playoff spot. Odessa (17-8-1, 7-6) moved into a three-way tie for second in District 2 with one big week remaining.
