4A Game Grade 1st Half Team of the Year
Bridge City – The Cardinals have shot up the rankings from the very start en route to winning 15 games before district play. All State returners Logan Hamm and Peyton Havard are the headliners but they have gotten contributions from everyone.
Runner-Up
Levelland – Out west, Coach Paris has his Lobos primed for a big playoff run. One of the 4A cover-boys Zak Betancourt has led this team and they look to be the cream of the crop in District 3.
Honorable Mention
Canton Eagles – Canton comes back after a year where they carried a perfect record into the playoffs and some people thought they might struggle trying to duplicate that success. Well, the Eagles are off to an 11-1 start.
