4A GameGrade Team of the Week
Spring Hill – Coach Eckles and his Panthers took down Kilgore (7-2), which was previously undefeated in 15-4A play. Spring Hill sits at 7-2 in district, just a game back of Kilgore for first.
Runner Up
Pittsburg – The Pirates have put themselves back into playoff contention with a pair of huge wins over North Lamar (3-1) and Atlanta (4-3). Pittsburg also won a non-district game over Mineola (3-0) to finish 3-0 on the week.
Honorable Mention
Lufkin Hudson – Hudson took over the first place spot in 21-4A with a 5-3 victory over Huntington. The Hornets defeated Jasper earlier in the week while Huntington fell to Diboll to create the separation.
