4A Game Grade Team of the Week
China Spring – The Cougars easily racked up a 6-0 record this past week against solid competition. China Spring had wins over Lufkin Hudson (6), Godley (15), two wins over Jasper and two wins over 3A (5) Grandview.
Runner Up
Robstown – The Cottonpickers were 3-0 this past week with wins over IWA (14-4), 3A #1 London (6-3) and 5A Gregory-Portland (3-1).
Honorable Mention
Carthage – The Bulldogs are starting to impress with victories over 3A #10 Central Heights and 3A #20 Diboll.
Pittsburg – The Pirates are off to a nice 2-0 start in 15-4A play after taking down #8 Liberty-Eylau and Paris North Lamar.
Boerne – The Greyhounds are now up to 17 wins on the year after knocking off private school #4 Central Catholic, 5-3.
