4A Game Grade Team of the Week
Giddings & Levelland – The Buffaloes and the Lobos both storm into the playoffs on winning streaks. Two of the hottest teams in Class 4A. Levelland has won 15 in a row and Giddings 14. Both teams look to be tough outs in the playoffs.
Runner Up
Waco La Vega – La Vega beat Mexia 2-0 in a play-in game for the Pirates first playoff appearance since 1989.
Honorable Mention
Monahans – Coach Leps and the Loboes were down to their last out against Ft. Stockton. With the bases loaded and down 3-0, Sr Davian Saucedo lined a ball into the gap for an inside the park grand slam and a Monahans berth in the playoffs.
