Justin Murphy, Georgetown– Murphy lead Georgetown on the mound with dominating performance to avenge a first round loss vs Leander Rouse. He threw a Complete Game Shutout allowed 2 hits and struckout 1. The number that simply makes this performance grab everyones attention is that he only needed 56 Total Pitches. He only threw 9 balls all night.
Jonathan Childress, Forney– Facing Highland Park Childress again showed why he is part of one of the best pitching duos in the State. He again No Hit a district opponent while striking out 16 batters. Childress is pitching at another level right now and cant seem to keep his name of this list.
Russell Smith, Midlothian- THSB Pre Season cover boy got into the mix of top performances this week with a no hitter of his own. Guiding Midlothian back into the playoff hunt; Smith struck out 12 batters and only threw 84 pitches.
