5A Game Grade Team of the Week (April 10)
Barbers Hill– Recorded 2 shutout wins vs Splendora (8-0/10-0) last week to improve to 11-0 in District Play. The Eagles have silenced opponents offense with 4 shutouts in the last 6 games. In the two games that were not shutouts they allowed 1 run.
Runner Up-SA Alamo Heights-The mules picked up 2 victories last week including one vs Ranked and district leader Kerrville Tivy. AH put themselves in the thick of the playoff race with the two crucial victories.
Hon Mention- Gregory Portland- Went 2-0 in Zone Play with wins vs Alice and Tuloso Midway. The Wildcats victories helped them climb back into the playoff picture at 4-4 in Zone Play with games vs the 1st and 2nd seed remaining.
