5A Game Grade Team of the Week (Apr 24)
Dripping Springs– Went 2-0 in district play with wins vs Playoff Contenders, Alamo Heights (9-0) and Medina Valley (3-0). The Tigers are now tied for 2nd place in District 26 Standings with a week to play.
Runner Up-Whitehouse– Swept Corsicana (5-3/7-4) last week in a crucial series which would determine if the wildcats have a shot at the district title. They are now tied for 1st in District 17 at 7-1.
Hon Mention-Richmond Foster-Recorded 2 shutout victories and now are atop District 27 Standings. Foster beat Angleton 8-0 and Lamar Consolidated 7-0 to move to 9-2.
