5A GameGrade Team of the Week
Magnolia Bulldogs – Magnolia (12-4-0/2-0) went 2-0 on the week with district wins over previously ranked #1 Tomball (16-6) and Waller (8-5). The Bulldogs had several players with phenomenal performances over district rival Tomball, including Adam Kloffenstein (3-4, 3B, HR, 8RBI) and Jordan Groshans (3-3, 2B, HR, 2RBI).

Gregory Portland Wildcats – The Wildcats (11-2-3/0-0) are riding a 6 game win streak with wins this week over previously ranked #14 CC Moody (3-2), Hebbronville, (7-3) and Beeville (5-2). Their effort thus far earned them a spot in this week’s Top 25 at #24.
Honorable Mention
Frisco Wakeland Wolverines – Wakeland (12-4-3/2-0) is continuing their winning ways. Facing one of the tougher preseason schedules, the Wolverines are riding a high entering district play. Wakeland notched back-to-back wins over district foe Frisco Liberty (7-1, 3-1).
