5A Game Grade Team of the Week
Magnolia – The Bulldogs took down College Station in two straight (4-1 & 3-0) to claim the 19-5A district championship.
Runner Up
Austin Anderson – Anderson picked up an impressive 9-3 win over top 10 Austin McCallum to take over first place in 17-5A.
Honorable Mention
McKinney North – The Bulldogs notched wins over The Colony (3-1) and Wylie East (3-0) to lock in a playoff spot out of 10-5A.
Sharyland – The Rattlers scratched a quality warm-up win over 6A # 10 La Joya, 7-6.
Cedar Park – The Timberwolves are back on track after easily getting by Rouse (10-2) and Georgetown (7-0).
Lubbock Monterey – Faced with two must-win games, Monterey came through a pair of clutch victories over Lubbock (2-1 & 5-4) to make the playoffs.
