6A GameGrade Team of the Week (Mar 19)

*GameGrade 6A Team of the Week is the……..

Summer Creek Bulldogs –  after starting the season 1-4-1, the Bulldogs have put together 12 consecutive wins to make their record to date 13-4-1…undefeated last week with a 2-0 district record to start…now that is overcoming adversity in a big way!       Good job Bulldog TEAM!

 

*Runner Up is the……….

Keller Indians – the Indians lost their top pitching from last season so a big key to the 2018 season was to see if some ‘new’ pitching could step up and compliment the strong returning position players….. well they proved it last week by sweeping pre-season district 3 favorite Weatherford and giving up only one run in the two games played!…that’s a recipe for success….Keller is moving up the ladder at 10-4, 2-0!….Way to go ‘New’ pitchers!

 

*Honorable Mention is the……….

San Antonio Brandeis Broncos – the Bronco’s won all 3 district games last week to already run their district record to 7-0!…..one of those wins was an exciting come from behind 5-4 victory and the pitching staff has only given up one run in their last 17 innings!  Good job Bronco’s!
