6A GameGrade Team of the Week
Belton – The Tigers picked up three district wins last week, outscoring opponents 34-11 to create some separation in the District 12-6A standings with Belton on top.
Runner Up
Ft. Worth Boswell – The Pioneers picked up two shutout district victories to clinch their first postseason berth since 2016. Boswell, in its first year at the 6A level, is 9-1 and currently atop the 3-6A standings.
Honorable Mention
Odessa Permian – The Panthers took a 2-1 series victory over Midland Lee, creating a log jam at the top of District 2-6A with three teams at three district losses.
San Antonio Churchill – The Chargers earned two big District 28-6A victories over Brandeis and Johnson to create a two-way tie one game out of first place.
