6A GameGrade Team of the Week
C.E. King Panthers – Won first 6A district game vs Channelview last Friday after only winning 4 games in the last 2 years in 5A. King had a Grand Slam and scored 5 runs in the 1st inning and held on for a 5-4 win. King is 6-13 this year.
Runner Up
Cy Woods Wildcats – Swept Cy Fair in 2 games and beat Cy Lakes to go 3-0 for the week and 9-2 in district. They are tied for 1st place in 17-6A and moved into the Top 25 for the first time this year.
Honorable Mention
Ft. Bend Ridge Point Panthers – Ridge Point went 2-0, including a win over then #3 Kempner and moved into a tie for 1st in 20-6A. Ridge Point also entered the Top 25 for the first time this year.
