San Antonio Johnson – The Jaguars picked up two big District 28-6A wins over No. 3 SA Reagan and Top 40 squad SA Churchill, both previously unbeaten in district play, to tie for the top spot in the standings.

Grand Oaks – The Grizzlies opened their District 13-6A season by picking up three wins during spring break over No. 15 The Woodlands, College Park and Conroe, extending their unbeaten streak to 10 games.
Honorable Mention
La Joya – The Coyotes maintained their undefeated record by earning three District 31-6A victories in three days over PSJA, Juarez-Lincoln and Edinburg Economedes, outscoring opponents 33-1.
