6A GameGrade Team of the Week (March 12)

*GameGrade 6A Team of the Week is the……..

Humble Kingwood Mustangs – This Mustang team has NOT been on their home field at all this year so far due to damage from Hurricane Harvey. All of their games have been on the road and also have had to share a practice field with Summer Creek HS. Today(March 12th) is actually the first day back on their field! Through all this adversity, they have started the season with an 11-3-2 record!  Congratulation Guys!

*Runner Up is the……….

San Antonio Reagan Rattlers – the Rattlers won the San Antonio Classic championship with a 6-0 record. They defeated Lamar, Boerne, Boerne Champion, SA East Central, EP Franklin, and Smithson Valley. They scored 40 runs and only gave up 9 in their 6 victories with 2 shutouts.

*Honorable Mention is the……….

Denton Guyer Wildcats – the Wildcats were 4-1-1 in the very tough Highland Park Tournament in the DFW area. They had an exceptionally tough schedule but were able to defeat highly ranked teams #4Southlake Carroll, #12Dallas Jesuit, #15Midland and Highland Park while losing to #13Coppell and finishing with a tie against #2Rockwall. Pretty impressive lineup!
