Game Grade 6A Team of the Week

 

McAllen Bulldogs – the Bulldogs started their season strong with a 6-0 record playing in the McAllen Tournament. They scored 63 runs and only gave up 6 runs including two shutouts in their 6 games. The Bulldogs had nice wins over always tough Calallen, 6-1 and McAllen Memorial, 11-1 on Saturday.

Waco Midway Panthers – the Panthers were 5-1 in the Georgetown Tournament with a very tough schedule. They had impressive victories over the #2 Rockwall Yellowjackets 8-0 and the strong 5A #10 Georgetown Eagles 10-6. Their other wins came against Jersey Village, College Park and CC Tuloso Midway. The only loss was to #4 Rockwall Heath 5-2

 

Honorable Mention

 

Cypress Woods Wildcats – the Wildcats were 5-1 last week in the Katy ISD Tournament. Wins came against Cinco Ranch,4-2 – Katy Tompkins,9-3 – Ft Bend Travis,8-5 – Katy Taylor Mustangs,5-2 and Katy Seven Lakes,8-5. Their only loss was to Ft Bend Ridge Point,4-2.
