Connor Carlton, So., Wylie — In helping Wylie to the Class 4A state championship, Carlton closed with a 10-1 record and a 1.24 ERA in 67.2 innings of work.

Ligon West, Sr., Stamford — A four-year varsity player, West ended his high school career with a 10-2 senior campaign while helping the Bulldogs reach the state tournament.

Taylor Munkres, Sr., Snyder — One of the area’s most consistent starting pitchers in 2016, Munkres posted a 1.58 ERA in 84 innings with 98 strikeouts.

Tanner Riley, Jr., Clyde — This multisport standout proved to be as effective on the mound as he was on the football field and on the basketball court.
