High School Career
Adams’ junior season was cut short by an ankle injury. On the mound, he was 3-1 and had a 1.35 ERA with 46 Strikeouts in 26 Innings Pitched. At the plate, he hit .395 with 3 Doubles and 1 Triple. He was named to the 20-5A All-District Team as a 2nd Team Pitcher.

In his sophomore season, Adams was 7-5 with a 1.25 ERA and 92 Strikeouts in 72.1 innings pitched. At the plate, he hit .238 with 4 Doubles, 1 Home Run, 16 RBIs and 21 Runs. He was selected the 20-5A Newcomer of the Year.
