Jakob Schulz is a 6-2 200 Sr LHP/DH for the 17-6A Spring Branch Memorial Mustangs. He has committed to Vanderbilt University.

High School Season
In his junior season, Schulz was 2-4 with a 2.08 ERA and 47 Strikeouts in 33.2 innings pitched. At the plate, he hit .324 with 7 Doubles, 21 RBIs, 17 Runs and a .439 OBP. He was named to the 17-6A All-District Team as a 1st Team Pitcher.
As a sophomore, Schulz was 5-1 with a 1.42 ERA and 57 Strikeouts in 36 innings pitched. At the plate, he hit .368 with 5 Homer Runs and 26 RBIs. He was named the 17-6A Newcomer of the Year.
