Klein Collins RHP Austin Boyles and Austin Bowie RHP Chris Logan went toe to toe in Game 2 of this Quarterfinal Regional action at Tony Burger Center. The game was scoreless for 3.5 innings.
In the bottom of the 4th inning, Dustin Jourdan started of with a single and Joe Davis reached on an error. With Two runners on and Marcel Carter up to bat, Head Baseball Coach Degelia called for a sac bunt. Carter laid down the bunt to move Jourdan and Wes Higgins(Pinch Runner) up to 3rd. With 1 out, 1st baseman Jake Moore singles to right field to score both runners.
Bowie tacked on another run in the bottom of the 6th. Dustin Jourdan singled with 1 out, moved to 3rd on a passed ball and ground out and then scored on Klein Collins second error of the game. Meanwhile, Logan held Klein Collins scoreless through 7 innings, allowing 4 hits while striking out 7. For his performance Chris Logan is name the Player of the Game.
Game 3 is today at 12:00PM in Weimar.
