Petrowski was one error away from pitching a perfect game against 5A No. 15 Boerne Champion on Feb. 28. His 64-pitch, no-hit performance marked the only time this season Boerne Champion has been shutout.

Ropple threw a five-inning no-hitter with nine strikeouts and no walks on Feb. 26 in the district opener against Waco. On Mar. 1, he threw a scoreless inning of relief to earn the save as Copperas Cove handed No. 14 Westlake its first loss of the season.
