Diego Muniz is a 5’9”, 165 lb SS for the 6A Rockwall Yellowjackets. He has committed to the University of Oklahoma.

In his junior season, Muniz hit .411 with 12 2Bs, 5 HRs, 27 RBIs and 44 Runs. On the mound, he was 9-1 with a 1.70 ERA and 62 Ks in 61.2 innings. He was named a 1st Team Pitcher on the 11-6A All-District Team. He was selected to the TSWA All-State Team as an Honorable Mention SS.

As a sophomore, Muniz hit .317 with 11 2Bs, 12 RBIs and 21 Runs. On the mound, he was 6-5 with a 1.52 ERA and 69 Ks in 69 innings. He was named a 1st Team SS on the 11-6A All-District Team.
