Dominic Grissom, Sr, SS, El Paso Coronado

Dominic Grissom is a 6’0” 187 lb SS and plays for the 6A El Paso Coronado Thunderbirds. He is uncommitted.

In his junior year, Grissom hit .545 with 18 2Bs, 3 3bs, 8 HRs, 36 RBIs and 48 Runs. He led all 6A players with the .545 batting average, was 2nd in Doubles and Runs Scored and tied for 5th in Home Runs. He was the 1-6A Offensive Player of the Year.

He was selected to the Texas Sports Writers Association All-State Team as a 3rd Team SS.

As a sophomore, Grissom hit .418 with 14 2Bs, 5 HRs, 31 RBIs and 48 Runs. His 48 Runs was 2nd among all 6A players. He was selected to the 1-6A 1st Team All-District Team.

As a freshman, Grissom hit .500 and was selected the 1-6A Newcomer of the Year.

Grissom played for DBAT Tompkins in the summer and the Yankees scout team with Coach Brian Huie.
