Boyd – Defending state champion Boyd is off to a hot start, coasting to a 5-0 record in a tournament consisting of larger classification schools.  

Runner Up

Kountze – The Lions went 5-0 and had an impressive win over a tough Diboll team.

Honorable Mention

Troy – The Trojans are off to a nice 4-0 started that included a win over top 40 4A Salado.

Central Heights – The Blue Devils had no problems winning the Bonham tourney, outscoring opponents, 34-5.

London – The Pirates posted 4 shutouts and had a 42-2 scoring advantage in 5 games played last week.
