Midlothian – The Panthers knocked off two top 30 6A teams in week one to start the season 4-0.

Runner Up

Liberty Hill – The Panthers had a strong showing in the First Pitch Classic, knocking off the likes of Arlington, Southlake Carroll, Lubbock Cooper and San Angelo Central.

Honorable Mention

Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial – C.C. Vets is off to a nice 4-1 start that included a win over top 10 Leander Rouse.

Argyle – The Eagles are the number one team in the state for a reason after knocking off region II preseaosn favorite Hallsville in tournament play.
