GameGrade 6A Team of the Week
Marcus – After an opening weekend tournament in California, the Marauders set their sights on the Collin County Classic. Marcus went 6-0 with wins over ranked 6A squads McKinney Boyd, Prosper and Waco Midway.
Runner-Up
Cinco Ranch – The Cougars leaned on their loaded pitching staff to go 6-0 on the week with a perfect record through the Lamar CISD Tournament. Cinco Ranch’s staff threw two no-hitters and three shutouts as the offense outscored opponents 40-7.
Honorable Mention
South Grand Prairie – The Warriors went 6-0 through the Irving-GPISD Tournament. South Grand Prairie defeated four 2019 playoff teams, outscoring opponents 53-14 to improve to 11-1 on the season.
