Southwest Christian Eagles – The Eagles went 3-0-1 in the Mike Thompson Southwest Classic.  In their first game of the tournament, they defeated FW Poly to give Coach Tracy Howard his 300th victory.  Southwest also defeated 6A EP Socorro and 5A Palo Duro, while tying 5A Cleburne.  The Eagles are 14-2-2 to begin the season.

Runner Up
Prestonwood Christian Lions – The Lions went 3-1 in the Jesuit Baseball Classic, including wins over 6A Plano East, 6A Dallas Jesuit, and 6A Richardson.  The Lions are 15-2 to start the season.

Honorable Mention
Fort Worth All Saints – The Saints went 4-0 in the Mike Thompson Southwest Classic including wins over 5A FW Southwest, 5A Abilene Wylie, and 6A EP Coronado.  The Saints are 12-1 to start the season.

Kinkaid Falcons-The Falcons swept 4A Huffman Hargrave 13-0 and 16-8 and then defeated 6A Bellaire 5-4.  The Falcons are 6-0 to start the season.

Nolan Catholic Vikings– The Vikings sent 5-0 in the Carrollton Diamond Classic, including wins over 5A Newman Smith, 6A Garland, 6A Naaman Forest, and TAPPS D1 Plano John Paul II.  Nolan Catholic is on an 11 game winning streak, starting the season 12-3-1.
