Giancarlo Servin, Sr, RHP/SS, Edinburg North

Giancarlo Servin is a 6’3” 195 lb Senior RHP/SS for the Edinburg North Cougars. He has signed with Texas A&M-Kingsville

As a junior, Servin batted .533 with 7 2Bs, 2 HRs, 24 Runs and 27 RBIs. On the mound, he was 10-1 with a 0.70 ERA and 114 Ks. He was 3rd in batting average and 6th in strikeouts among all 6A players. Servin was named the 31-6A Pitcher of the Year. He was named to the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association All State Team as a 2nd Team Pitcher and to the Texas Sports Writers Association All State Team as an Honorable Mention Pitcher.

During his sophomore year, Gervin hit .393 with 16 RBIs, scoring 29 runs. On the mound, he was 4-3 with a 2.85 ERA and 49 Ks. He was named to the 31-6A All-District Team as a 2nd Team SS and Honorable Mention Pitcher.
