As a sophomore, Eckhardt hit .282 and was named a 1st Team OF on the 27-4A All-District Team.
As a freshman, Eckhardt was 1-2 with a 4.05 ERA with 2 Saves and 30 Ks in 19 innings. At the plate, he hit .292 wit 16 Runs. He was named the 27-4A Newcomer of the Year.
