Nick Loftin, Sr, SS/RHP, Corpus Christi Ray

Nick Loftin is a 6’1”, 170 lb Senior SS/RHP playing for the 5A Corpus Christi Ray Texans. He is committed to the University of Baylor.

As a junior, Loftin hit .460 with 12 RBIs, 18 Runs, and 12 SBs. On the mound he was 4-2 with an 0.92 ERA and 49 Ks in 38 innings. He was named to the 28-6A All-District Team as a 1st Team SS.

He was selected to the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association 6A All-State Team as a 1st Team SS. He was also named to the USA Today All-USA Texas Team as a 2nd Team SS.

In his sophomore year, Loftin hit .455 and was named the 28-6A All-District 1st Team SS.

As a freshman, Loftin hit .458 and was named the 30-4A Newcomer of the Year. He also was selected to the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association 4A All-State Team as a 3rd Team OF.

Nick played summer league baseball with the Prospects National Team.
