Jakob Berger is a 5’11’ 180 Senior LHP/OF for the 5A Colleyville Heritage Panthers. He has committed to Dallas Baptist University.

As a Senior, Berger was 10-1 with a 1.40 ERA and 85 Ks in 59.2 Innings. At the plate, he hit .378 with 3 2Bs, 3 3Bs, 2 HRs, 13 Runs and 28 RBIs. He was named the 8-5A Co-Pitcher of the year and was selected to the Fort Worth Star Telegram All-Star Baseball Team as a Honorable Mention Team Member. Berger was also selected to the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association 5A All-State Team as a 2nd Team Pitcher and to the Texas Sports Writers Association 5A All-State Team as an Honorable Mention Pitcher.

Berger was named a 2018 Preseason Perfect Game Underclass 2nd Team All-American.

Berger was named a 2017 Preseason Perfect Game Underclass High Honorable Mention All-American.
