High School Career
In his junior season, Mayhugh hit .360 with 3 Doubles, 5 Triples, 1 Home Run, 40 RBIs, and 35 Runs. He was named to the Division 1 District 3 1st Team All-District.

As a sophomore, Mayhugh hit .385 with 7 Doubles, 4 Triples, 27 RBI, 27 Runs, a .484 OBP and a .577 SLG. He was named to the Division 1 District 3 1st Team All-District.
