As a Junior, Lucas was 5-1 with 47 Ks and a 1.94 ERA. At the plate, he hit .310 with 2 2Bs, 1 3B and 12 RBIs. He was named a 1st Team Pitcher on the 18-5A All-District Team.
Lucas hit 91 MPH this past year in a Perfect Game Showcase. He was a 2018 Preseason Perfect Game Underclass 3rd Team All-American.
As a Sophomore, Lucas was 4-1 with a 2.28 Era and 27 Ks in 30.2 innings. He was named a 2nd Team Pitcher on the 18-5A All-District Team.
Lucas was a 2018 Preseason Perfect Game High Honorable Mention All-American.
As a Freshman, Lucas was 8-1 with a 1.91 ERA and 66 Ks in 51.1 innings. He was named a 2nd Team Pitcher on the 18-5A All-District Team. Lucas was also selected to the Texas Sports Writers Association 5A All-State Team as a 3rd Team Pitcher.
