High School Baseball
In his junior season, Woodcox hit .532 with 10 2Bs, 8 HRs, 14 SBs, 37 RBIs and 42 Runs. He was 4th among all 6A players in Batting Average and was tied for 4th in Home Runs. Woodcox was named to the 18-6A All-District Team as a 1st Team Infielder and to the Houston Chronicle All-Area Team as a 1st Team Infielder. He was named the Texas Prep Baseball 6A Hitter of the Year for the Houston area. Woodcox was also named to the Texas Sports Writers Association 6A All-State Team as an Honorable Mention SS.
As a sophomore, Woodcox hit .380 with 11 2Bs, 3 3Bs, 10 SBs, 25 Runs, 24 RBIs and a .441 OBP. He was named the 18-6A Co-Newcomer of the Year.
