High School Career
In his junior season, Stewart hit .414 with 10 Doubles, 11 Home Runs, 52 RBIs, 31 Runs and a .920 SLG PCT. On the mound he was 8-0 with a 0.17 ERA and 70 Strikeouts.  Stewart led all 4A players in Home Runs and ERA and was tied for 1^st in RBIs.  He was selected to the 26-4A All-District Team as a 1st Team 1B. He was also named the Texas Sports Writers Association 4A Co-Player of the Year.

As a sophomore, Stewart hit .415 with 15 Doubles, 3 Triples, 42 RBIs, and a .638 SLG PCT. On the mound, he was 5-0 with a 0.00 ERA and 50 Strikeouts in 27 Innings Pitched. He was named to the 26-4A All-District Team as a 1st Team 1B. He was also named to the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association 4A All-State Team as a 2nd Team 1B and to the Texas Sports Writers Association 4A All-State Team as a 3rd Team 1B.
